One can get to Ilisu from regional center of Gakh
along the asphalt road on a scheduled bus or by taxi
hired at the bus terminal. The road to the village
is paved with asphalt.
CHRONOMETRY
It
is possible to drive from village Budug to Jheg through
Jarym-Yaylag tract from gorge of the Kudial-Chai River
in summertime and in dry weather. Distance from Jheg
up to Budug is 17 km. Time taken is approximately
an hour.

Day
I
-
First half of a day: departure Baku; arrival at Gakh,
fluent excursion in Gakh, picnic-lunch on the way.
- Second half of a day: arrival at Ilisu and accommodation
in rural houses; dinner with local dishes; acquaintance
with a household life, ethnography of settlement;
excursion to Ilisu (ancient bridge, mosque "Ulu" of
the XVIII-th century, watchtowers of the XVI-th-XVII-th
centuries, fortress "Shamil-Gala"); acquaintance with
a household life, ethnography of the settlement; supper
with local dishes.
Day
II
-
First half of a day: breakfast; excursion to the fortress
"Sumukh", to the gorge Saribash, picturesque garden
"Fizuli" and to the waterfall. - Second half of a
day: dinner; returning to Baku.
