HOW TO REACH
The
settlement Kryz-Dahna is located in 25 km from Cuba,
in gorge of the Gudjalchaj River, on the way to
Hynalyg. The site of the way Guba-Hynalyg, which
the settlement Kryz-Dahna is located on, is in the
beginning of the road to Hynalyg. It is one of the
most complex sites of the road, passing in a deep
canyon of the Gudjalchaj. The road is very narrow,
stony, in some places covered with large cobblestones
beating at the bottom of cars. At the left, on a
course of movement, there is a steep breakage up
to the river.
It is very difficult to drive on such a road. To
reach the settlement Kryz-Dahna is possible on passing
transport up to settlements Hynalyg, Jheg, Alik,
Gapit, Kaley Khudat. In Guba it is possible to employ
the car of the raised passableness (the price is
contractual)

directly. The boarding house "Dahna" is on a
small stone platform, through which the road
passes. Some modern cottages fenced in a wall.

and wade the river a few times, and then the
road leaves for an abrupt slope and raises upwards
Hynalyg. |
Road
up to the village Hynalyg passes through Kryz-Dahna
and Jheg, therefore chronometers of the way up to
Kryz-Dahna and Jheg are not presented separately.

PROGRAM
OF TWO-DAY ROUND TO BUDUG
Day
I
-
First half of a day: departure Baku; arrival at
Guba; round in Kryz-Dahna; picnic-lunch on a coast
of the Gudjalchaj River.
- Second half of a day: arrival at Kryz-Dahna and
accommodation in rural houses; dinner with local
dishes; acquaintance with a household life, ethnography
of the settlement; excursion to gorge of the Gudjalchaj
and to the Alpine meadows on horses; supper with
local dishes.
Day
II
-
First half of a day: breakfast; campaign in a wood,
to the waterfall, to Hyn-Bulagi; dinner.
- Second half of a day: returning to Guba and wherefrom
to Baku.
